The Igorot(TI) Press Release

The Igorot (TI) Press Release

Greetings All,

Attached is a Press Release from the managing editor of The Igorot, Ms Rose Presley. There is great excitement building in anticipation of the publication of their first issue. More information will be following. Don't be left out!!

The Igorot Global Organization (IGO) embarks on its
official publication.

Maryland, USA - The Igorot Global Organization (IGO)
announces its official publication "The Igorot". The
new publication will provide its members worldwide a
published medium of communication with a focus on the
mission and values of the IGO.

The Igorot will be published three times a year with
an initial circulation of 1,000. The editorial staff
is headed by John Dyte with Mike Wandag and Tony
Gomowad as assistant editors. Rose W. Presley is
managing editor.

Rosalynda Callagan, CEO of the IGO in a message to the
membership stated, "We are very much aware of the many
issues which transpired with this project and the
difficulties which will confront the new staff."
Callagan, an outspoken supporter of an IGO publication
continued, "some of the decisions, which must be made,
may not satisfy everyone. However, this is a new
beginning and we must realize that making the very
best decisions we can, collectively, will have to
suffice if we are to move forward."

The new periodical owes its beginning from the primal
publication known as the Igorot Quarterly or IQ. The
Igorot Quarterly was established by the late Rex
Botengan, the principal founder of the IGO. For almost
a decade, the IQ served the needs of IGO and all
Igorots. Mr. Botengan and the Igorot Quarterly were
synonymous.

"The Igorot" will continue the tradition of serving
the Igorot people, but it will be an evolving
publication reflecting the changing Igorot people and
their needs.

Look forward to further announcements from the staff
of "The Igorot".
